Across the Miles.

Hello,

I am so excited my husband and I have decided to take the kids on a holiday to the U.K. next year.  It is going to be great meeting relatives we have never met before and catching up with those that have previously visited us in Australia.  Both of us actually have more relatives in England than in Australia.  I am also excited at the prospect of checking out English craft stores:).  Think I had better start saving up now.

Today I have made a card for Rob’s Uncle Dave for his birthday.

One tequila…

  • March 29, 2011 at 12:13 pm

Hello,

Here is my take on this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge.  I have yet to decide if I actually like the card I have created.  It gets frustrating when you have an image in your head how a card is going to turn out, but in realty it looks nothing like it :( .  On a positive note I used one of my favourite digi stamps.  I have made heaps of cards with Tequila Ruby – love it!

Man Cards

  • March 25, 2011 at 6:41 pm

I have found a new challenge blog - Cards For Men.   What a great way to keep my supply of men cards happening :) .

To be honest I am not really over excited with how my card turned out.  Think the colours are all wrong.  All well.

Carmen Electrafying

Hello,

Today’s card I have made for my husbands uncle or as the kids call him Gruncle (as in Great Uncle).  I am rather late in making and sending this card but since Gruncle Steve lives in England I can always blame it on international mail delivery ;) .
This weeks challenge at Anything Goes  is ‘die cuts’.  I have used my new spellbinder dies to make the two corner Fleur De Lis’s.  Quite a simple card.  This image from Kenny K does not need much around it distracting from this image.

A Bit of Lace

  • March 17, 2011 at 11:21 am

Hello,

First off I want to express my sadness to the people of Japan who are having their world turned upside down by the turmoil created by the earthquake.  It just makes me think, while I am sitting happily at my desk making cards they are dealing with such incomprehensible devastation…

Today I have made a card for Great Nana Brown’s upcomming birthday.  I am entering this card into Tuesday Throwdown Challenge - ‘Lace’.
