Been very busy of late. I have been making wedding invites for Sarsha and her fiance’ Adam. Currently I am making some mock up invites for another couple.

You have spent your time creating your card for that special someone. How about going that one step further and make a matching envelope. It is so easy, by putting in just a little bit of extra work to give that instant wow factor. Taking a piece of matching printed cardstock or randomly stamping images onto coloured cardstock cutting to size so it neatly slips into the envelope. Moisten the gum on the envelope (this will keep the cardstock in place). Cut around the overhang of the printed paper. Now you have a matching lined envelope. Next you can stamp images on the outside of your envelope. On this particular one I used a ‘build-a-brad’ (pg 149 of the main catalogue) to give a matching tree topper. I only recently discovered ‘Build-A-Brad’. These are quick and easy to make a co-ordinating brad. The kit comes with 24 brad bases and 24 adhesive acrylic bubbles. It is as easy as, punching patterned or stamped paper out with a 1.3cm circle punch (pg 152). Glue punch circle to brad then adhere adhesive acrylic bubble and you are done. Quick ‘n’ Easy.

The Summer Mini Catalogue was released yesterday. Let me tell you there are some awesome stamp sets in there. My favourite one being ‘I {Heart} Hearts’. This stamp set also co-ordinates with the SU heart punch. Can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Another new item in the Summer Mini is the ‘Sweet treat Cups’. I think these are awesome. They are treat cups that attach to your card (you will need a 4.4cm circle punch). So the lollies you put inside the treat cup actually become part of your card. How cool is that. Watch this space for some creations I am going to make with this
If you want a copy of the mini catalogue email me with your postal details and i will send you one. or alternatively go here to check it out online.

It has been exactly one month since I last posted. I am a very naughty blogger. I intend on changing my ways and endeavour to blog at least once a week:-).
Today I have for you a quick ‘n’ easy triangle box for you. This box is great for holding treats of the yummy kind or anything else you can think of.

Ingredients
Riding Hood Red A4 paper
Riding Hood Red Ink
Christmas Classics Stamp Set
Pink Pirouette Designer Series Paper
Snail Adhesive
2 Way Glue Pen
Large Star Punch
Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon
Small Circle Punch
Bone Folder
To get this 3D effect to the star, stamp out 3 star images. Using the Large Star Punch, punch out these three stars (if you do not have the star punch use scissors to cut around the image). Using your bone scorer, score down the centre of each star. With your 2 way glue stick, glue half of the star and stick to the next star, then repeat the same to the third star. Then glue down to the front face of the box.

See below for the diagram to make the Envelope and Card Holder Set.
